Gianluca's First Communion

May 2, 2015
Narragansett, RI

Oh my goodness. I can't even describe how wonderful this family is. I arrived at their beautiful home by 7:30 a.m., expecting a scene similar to my own house; superhero p.j.s, crazy bed head and sleepy boys. Instead I found these handsome three; bright eyed, polite and dressed in perfectly pressed suits! Their parents were just as put together, as were all four grandparents. 7:30 a.m.!! As the day progressed, I felt honored to be amidst so much love. The Lepores truly epitomize what family means. I loved being a visitor in the special life they have created, and almost felt like an adopted family member by the end of the day. You could not ask for a more pleasant and respectful boy than Gian. Not only did he continue to be pleasant all day while I incessantly took his picture, but his smile remained genuine and his prayer hands an automatic reflex. Thank you for inviting me to be part of such a special celebration. Capturing your amazing family was a privilege. There were too many beautiful moments and people captured to share all on one blog...hundreds. If you would like to view the entire gallery or purchase pictures, you can do so through my online client proof page: http://barefootvisionsphotography.pixieset.com/guestlogin/gianlucasfirstcommunion/

Did I mention it was 7:30 in the morning?

Gian had a very special angel watching over him on this day, and always.

This picture is the reason why I love being a photographer. It makes me tear up just looking at it. This couple has been married for almost 50 years. Her husband approached me quietly, asking if I could please take one of him and his wife. Although stoic, the love here is palpable.

This beautiful mama deserves a shout out. She is raising three amazing little men and making it look easy. It's not...believe me!!!
