The kids are officially back in school, which means the seasons are changing. I LOVE fall in New England. The air is crisp, the lighting beautiful, and rainbows of leaves make for some amazing backdrops. Throw in the apples, a few pumpkins, and you've got the perfect recipe for family photos. These are the only time slots I have available for these sessions, so please let me know your top two preferences. Looking forward to playing in the leaves with your family soon!!

It's Christmas in July!
Christmas in July
Mini-Sessions are Here

Summer is one of the best times to take holiday photos. By the time Christmas card season rolls around, everyone is missing those lazy beach days and dreaming about next summer. That's why my favorite cards in our lineup always tend to be the ones that capture those carefree summer moments. With this in mind, I am scheduling three beach mini-sessions this summer.

Hi Guys.
The blog is officially up.
What a wonderful and whacky ride it has been over the past year. New baby, new profession, and brand new perspective on life.
This career has been 20 years in the making. From polaroid to film, high school homecoming games to the cobblestone streets of Europe. I have seen the emotion that makes life beautiful and worked to capture it.
Having my third child made me realize how blinkingly fast the ride can be. I found myself grasping onto each moment with my children. Trying to memorize an ironic smile, bottle that baby smell, or scribble down every endearing thing they said.
But life is busy. Inevitably, those glimpses swirl away in a whirlwind of everyday moments that pass too quickly. I was grasping to remember, beating myself up for what I forgot, and losing the magic of just being in the moment.
So once more I turn to my camera. I may not have a perfectly scrapbooked life, complete with witty quotes, color-coordinated washi tape borders and line graphs of each child's physical development, but I have my camera. I have THAT. And I can share it with you.
Taking risks can be scary. Missing an opportunity to follow your passion is completely terrifying. So here I am, doing what I love and giving you beautiful memories to treasure forever. Thanks for stopping by. Visit me again soon.

Maeve's 6 Month Session
May 8, 2015
In Studio
South Kingstown, RI
I honestly don't think I have ever met a sweeter or happier baby girl than Miss Maeve. I was blessed to take her newborn photos when she was just 4 days old. Even then, Maeve's sweet demeanor was obvious. At six months old, her charming personality is really shining through. Not every baby can rock pearls, but this little one was meant for frills! The world can use more of this uninhibited joy. Thank you Maevey.

Gianluca's First Communion
May 2, 2015
Narragansett, RI
Oh my goodness. I can't even describe how wonderful this family is. I arrived at their beautiful home by 7:30 a.m., expecting a scene similar to my own house; superhero p.j.s, crazy bed head and sleepy boys. Instead I found these handsome three; bright eyed, polite and dressed in perfectly pressed suits! Their parents were just as put together, as were all four grandparents. 7:30 a.m.!! As the day progressed, I felt honored to be amidst so much love. The Lepores truly epitomize what family means. I loved being a visitor in the special life they have created, and almost felt like an adopted family member by the end of the day. You could not ask for a more pleasant and respectful boy than Gian. Not only did he continue to be pleasant all day while I incessantly took his picture, but his smile remained genuine and his prayer hands an automatic reflex. Thank you for inviting me to be part of such a special celebration. Capturing your amazing family was a privilege. There were too many beautiful moments and people captured to share all on one blog...hundreds. If you would like to view the entire gallery or purchase pictures, you can do so through my online client proof page: http://barefootvisionsphotography.pixieset.com/guestlogin/gianlucasfirstcommunion/
